Since its inception, The Essential Image Source Foundation has accumulated hundreds of thousands of high definition images and produced numerous films, public service announcements and other educational and scientific by-products. However, we are not simply another film production entity. Rather, high definition filmmaking is the platform by which we effectuate change, educate and inform, prompt action, and leave a legacy of making a positive difference in our world, as well as, inspiring others to do the same.

Our History and Mission
The Essential Image Source Foundation, founded in 1999, is a non-profit [I.R.S. 501(c)(3)] organization, located in Santa Barbara, Ventura, and Malibu, California, and North Palm Beach, Florida. Founder and President, Susan Sember, while actively engaged in her former litigation law practice, recognized, based also on her undergraduate education in television and film, the tremendous value of engaging the persuasive and sensory format of film to connect others in the education and advocacy of various causes. In addition, while producing documentary films, Susan discovered and became a firm believer in the vastly superior resolution and color, unmatched evergreen quality and significant benefits of high definition to transport viewers into a realm previously unrealized by film audiences.
